I had such a great time, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The variety of experiences, insane knowledge & great company really made it amazing. Dammikka, Amal & Abiman are all living legends. I will miss them & Sri Lanka a lot. I’ll look back fondly on the time spent in Sri Lanka, and a massive part to play in that were those 3 guys. Just back from ten days in Sri Lanka with Dammika as our guide, a group of ten of us, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dammika knows Sri Lanka inside out. History, culture, Buddhism, wildlife, whatever came up, he had the answer. On safari he was a brilliant spotter and guide, and he's always happy to share what he knows. You can ask him anything. It's not just knowledge, it's the kind of person he is. He kept a big group entertained the entire trip with stories, local insights, and a running quiz that had all of us competing for "merits" (still arguing about the final scores). He organised a surprise birthday for my mum on the bus with cake, decorations, and a gift, which was genuinely touching and something she won't forget. He also properly looked after us. He'd regularly turn up with local Sri Lankan sweets for everyone to try, made sure dietary needs were sorted including dairy-free, and when a couple of us were feeling rough on the bus, he was straight on it, checking in and making sure they were comfortable. You could tell he actually cared, not just going through the motions. The itinerary hit all the right spots. Sigiriya Rock, incredible safaris (first time seeing wild elephants!), temples, and plenty in between. The long drives were never boring either. Speakers on, cold beers out, the whole bus laughing. It became one of the best parts of the trip. Big thanks also to Amal for getting us everywhere safely and Abeyman for all his help behind the scenes. Honestly, if you're planning a trip to Sri Lanka, book Dammika. He made it easy, fun, and completely memorable for our whole family.

Dies war unsere 2. Sri Lankareise mit Dammika als Reiseführer und Fahrer. Wir besichtigten Kandy, Nuvara Elyia , Ella und Gal Oya.Ausser dem Zahntempel , den Teeplantagen , der 9 archbridge besichtigten wir mit Dammika auch weniger bekannte Orte und Kultstätte.Dammika verfügt über ein sehr grosses Wissen über die srilankesische Geschichte  , über die Religionen aber auch über die Pflanzen und Tierwelt in Sri Lanka.Er ist ein sehr angenehmer Reiseführer, immer bei guter Laune und er möchte seinen Gästen soviel wie möglich von seinem tollen Land zeigen.Auch was seine Fahrkünste anbelangt kann man ihm bedenkenlos vertrauen. We had an amazing 2 week tour with Dammika as our guiding star  in December. I am embarrassed it has taken me this long to write a review as everything was so brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble and he put up without our many eccentricities perfectly. I can highly recommend (and have already directed 2 friends to the Any Season website). We have just returned from a 12 day trip of a lifetime around Sri Lanka with Dammika. We traveled from Colombo to Wilpattu National Park (saw a leopard, twice!) onto Anuradhapura, Habarana (to visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress), Polonnaruwa, Kandy (to visit the Temple of the Tooth) and finally to Nuwara Eliya to visit the tea plantations and to admire the views across Horton Plains. Throughout the entire trip, Dammika’s knowledge and information sharing was amazing. He knew so much about the history, the religions, the wildlife and shared it all freely and with a great sense of humour (not to mention patiently when we forgot some details and it had to be repeated). We cannot thank you enough for your kindness, your courtesy and for looking after our every need, nor can we imagine visiting Sri Lanka with any other guide and would definitely book again using your travel company. Could not wish for, or find, a better team to plan, organise and lead your visit to Sri Lanka, whatever your interests. An excellent driver, knowledgeable guide, full of interesting facts about the history, birds and animals of Sri Lanka. We had the pleasure and privilege to have Dammika as our driver/guide for our first week in Sri Lanka. He is extremely kind and thoughtful, has a great sense of humour, and shared a huge range of knowledge about this beautiful country. He taught us a lot about Buddhism, history and archaeology.
